Funding NHS Lothian

Lodged by Neil Findlay Standard Motion 0 supporters

The motion

That the Parliament notes with concern the reported £90 million deficit in funding that NHS Lothian is facing; understands that this is more than any other NHS board in Scotland; further understands that West Lothian has one of the fastest growing populations in Scotland; believes that such a deficit is unsustainable and will negatively impact on patient care, and further believes that more should be done by the Scottish Government to provide NHS Lothian with the resources that are needed.
