Drew Ness, 60 Years of Piping
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Drew Ness, who is a member of the Galashiels Ex-Servicemen's Pipe Band, on celebrating his 60th year of piping in the town; understands that Drew has been piping since the mid-1950s and joined the band in the early 1960s, following his service with the King's Own Scottish Borderers; notes that he was the band's Pipe Major from 1962 to 1967 and from 2010 to 2018; thanks Drew for his contribution to the band, and wishes him all the best.
