Dundonians Among Winners at the Scottish Qualifications Authority Star Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates inspiring Dundonians who were among the winners at the Scottish Qualifications Authority Star Awards 2019; understands that Declan Shafi, a former pupil of St Paul’s RC Academy in Dundee, was named School Candidate of the Year for using his talent in maths to support younger pupils at the school; further understands that Dundee International Women’s Centre was presented with the Promoting Inclusion award for its work in helping women from ethnic backgrounds achieve SQA qualifications, and further congratulates all those who won awards for their hard work.
