Tayside Team Recognised at Awards for Developing New Test to Detect Liver Disease
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Intelligent Liver Function Testing Team in Tayside on being recognised at the Scottish Health Awards 2019; understands that the team developed a new test to detect liver disease at an early stage, and picked up the Innovation Award at the ceremony; acknowledges that Professor John Dillion and Dr Ellie Dow worked with colleagues from NHS Tayside and the University of Dundee to develop the intelligent liver function tests at Ninewells Hospital, and thanks all of those involved for their work in developing this new test.
