East Lothian Home to Scotland’s Best Home Baker

That the Parliament congratulates 14-year-old Grace Warnock from Prestonpans in East Lothian on being named Scotland’s best home baker; notes that the Scottish National Gallery and its Scottish Café ran the "Contini Bake Off’ competition and that Grace impressed the judges with her trifle, banoffee, apple pie and lemon meringue cupcakes; notes that Grace has been baking at home with her mum since she was only three years old and really enjoys baking crispy cakes, biscuits and bread in the kitchen with her family; understand that Grace’s home baking will now be added to the Scottish Café’s signature afternoon tea menu throughout November 2019 for visitors to enjoy, and recalls that Grace is already an award winner for her groundbreaking campaigning for improved signage for accessible toilets and on behalf of people with Crohn’s disease.
