Rise in Rent Arrears Across West Lothian
The motion
That the Parliament notes with alarm the reported rise in rent arrears across West Lothian; understands that this has increased by nearly £1 million in the last year and that the switch to universal credit (UC) has greatly contributed to this rise, and believes that that UC should be scrapped as a matter of urgency and replaced with an alternative that will work better for people.
