Cycling Award for Clackmannan Development Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Clackmannan Development Trust (CDT) on being recognised for the excellent cycling activities that it provides for residents; notes that it was recently awarded the Silver Cycling Friendly Community Award; acknowledges that the trust had applied for the bronze award but was awarded silver due to the standard of work that it is delivering, including its monthly saddle-up cycle rides, bike maintenance and cycle leader training, Clackmannan Primary School's bikeability programme for P5 to P7 pupils and the merry and bright night cycle, as well as many other popular events, and commends the group for its sterling work for the benefit of communities across Clackmannanshire.
