The motion
That the Parliament notes that 10 December 2019 is the final day of 16 Days of Action against Gender-Based Violence; commends Rape Crisis centres across Scotland for their work in supporting survivors of sexual violence; understands that figures released by Rape Crisis Scotland show that on one day there were 1,035 survivors waiting to access lifesaving support in some areas up to 12 months; agrees that no-one should ever have to wait to access specialist support, and supports efforts to raise awareness of the #16PoundsFor16Days campaign to make sure that survivors of sexual violence are able to access support at the point of need.
