Irvine Gran Braves the Shave
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jeanette Muir from Irvine, who braved the shave to mark World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness week; understands that Jeanette’s life was shattered after she lost her husband, son and granddaughter within months of each other; further understands that her husband, Davie, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and sadly died 21 months after their son, David, passed away and nine months before their granddaughter, Meadow Pipe, who had an incurable blood disease and microcephaly disorder, also died aged three; commends Jeanette and her family for the bravery and selflessness they have shown in their grief, and wishes them a bright and happy future.
