Irvine Midwife is a Modern-day Angel
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ann Allan, who works at Ayrshire Central Hospital, on winning the midwife award at the 18th Annual Scottish Health Awards; understands that the midwife award recognises an individual who provides a high-quality of care for women and babies, and that Ann won the award for her work in supporting vulnerable women throughout their pregnancies; notes that the Scottish Health Awards are run by the Daily Record in conjunction with NHS Scotland and the Scottish Government; congratulates Ann, who was dubbed “a modern day angel” by her nominator, and all the winners, for going above and beyond for their patients, and wishes everyone involved the best for the future.
