Inchgarth Community Centre, National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Inchgarth Community Centre, which is based in Garthdee, Aberdeen, on being awarded £150,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this is the biggest funding award in the centre’s history; understands that the grant will be used to employ a full-time member of staff, retain its assistant manager, sustain current services and develop opportunities moving forward; recognises the tireless efforts of the centre’s staff and volunteers, who help deliver 170 sessions covering a wide range of activities for people of different needs and age groups; commends all involved with the centre, including Paul O’Connor, the chairman, and wishes it every success for the future.
