Kate Picken MBE
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kate Picken from Kirkcudbright on being appointed an MBE in the New Year Honours List; welcomes Kate's tireless commitment to music, education and charity over almost four decades; believes that she has been an inspiration to countless children in helping them learn music; congratulates Kate on her charitable success with the Farmers Choir, which plays to sell-out audiences to help raise mental health awareness, raising over £50,000 so far, and wishes Kate all the best.
