Life of Scott Glynn MBE
The motion
That the Parliament notes with sadness the recent untimely passing of well-known and much loved East Lothian entertainer and charity fundraiser, Scott Glynn; notes that Scott, who was originally from Port Seton but lived in Tranent, was highly regarded for the important work that he had carried out on a variety of community matters, including his long involvement with Ross High RFC in Tranent; believes that he will be most fondly remembered for his role in establishing and leading the Walk With Scott Foundation, for which he was appointed an MBE in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List; understands that the Foundation has raised more than £300,000 for a wide range of charities and good causes, making a positive impact on the lives of countless people and groups, and sends its condolences to Scott’s family and friends for their loss.
