New Year Honour for Elizabeth Seaton
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Elizabeth Seaton, from Wishaw, on being awarded the British Empire Medal for services to the Carers Network in Scotland; notes that Elizabeth has been chair of Motherwell-based North Lanarkshire Carers Together (NLCT) for over 15 years; understands that she founded NLCT having been both a young and adult carer herself; notes that NLCT provides care and support for some of the 46,000 carers in North Lanarkshire, and wishes Elizabeth and all at NLCT well in all their future endeavours.
