MBE for Anne Elliot of Bonnyrigg After School Club
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Anne Elliot on recently being appointed an MBE for being the founder of Bonnyrigg After School Club; recognises that Anne set up the charity in 1995 and that it provides affordable childcare before and after school; understands that the service started as a Friday club in 1994 after a need for childcare was identified, but that the club then went full time in 1995 as its services were in such high demand; acknowledges that there are now four after school clubs, three breakfast clubs and a nursery provided by the club; congratulates Anne and all the staff at the club for providing such an important and successful service in the community, and wishes them all the best for the future.
