Gail Topping Awarded the Queens Ambulance Service Medal

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gail Topping, who is a paramedic from West Lothian, on being awarded the Queen's Ambulance Service Medal; understands that Gail, who began her career in 1999, was recognised for campaigning for better mental health support services for ambulance staff; notes that, as part of this, she set up the West Lothian Learning and Development Group and the West Lothian Listening and Support Group; recognises that Gail has also played a key role with the campaign, RUOK?, which supports ambulance staff who have been affected by particularly distressing incidents that they have responded to; recognises the immense contribution that Gail has made to the Scottish Ambulance Service and its staff, and wishes her well.
