SAMH and Edinburgh Airport
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) on becoming Edinburgh Airport's new corporate charity for 2020; notes that more than 80 applications were received from charities across Scotland; further notes that the airport will now partner with Scotland's national mental health charity, which provides mental health support to adults and young people all over Scotland; acknowledges the tremendous work that SAMH does in over 60 communities, where it provides mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others, and hopes that the partnership will bring greater awareness of the importance of mental health and general wellbeing.
