Lottery Funding Saves Community Group’s Services
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Printfield Community Project on receiving £10,000 from the National Lottery's Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that the project’s youth groups were under threat of closure due to lack of funds and that this lottery money will allow all four schemes to continue; notes that the project caters for children and young people aged five to 25 who otherwise might not have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, and encourages Printfield Community Project to continue its excellent work, which it considers makes a huge difference to the lives of so many young people.
