Death of Seamus Mallon

That the Parliament notes with sadness the death of the former Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland and SDLP Deputy Leader, Seamus Mallon; recognises his immense contribution over many decades to peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland; acknowledges his commitment to respectful public discourse based on mutual respect for difference, compassion and understanding, and expresses its condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and the people of Northern Ireland.
