Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation 2020

As an amendment to motion S5M-20646 in the name of John Mason (Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation Report 2020), after "done" insert “; recognises, however, that SIMD remains less reliable in identifying areas of poverty or deprivation in more rural or island communities; urges, therefore, the Scottish and UK governments to be cautious about using SIMD as the basis for targeting spending”.
