Corstorphine Amateur Athletics Club
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Corstorphine Amateur Athletics Club on being awarded £17,000 over four years in sportscotland Direct Club Investment, which it will use to employ a club together officer who will be employed for 15 hours per week to allow the club to fulfil a number of important objectives, including reviewing its legal status and governance procedures, increasing the number of coaches, volunteers and athletes, creating a clear coaching pathway, enhancing links with the area's schools, sports hubs and councils and expanding participation in athletics throughout Edinburgh; understands the officer will also support under-represented groups in being integrated with the club’s coaching sessions, and wishes its members continued enjoyment of their club.
