West Lothian Council Childcare

That the Parliament welcomes the progress that West Lothian Council is making to ensure that every eligible child in West Lothian receives 1,140 hours of free high-quality early years childcare; understands that West Lothian is on track to have facilities and staff in place to provide increased hours and flexibility in all council-run early learning and childcare establishments, and believes that this is a positive step from the council to help ease the pressures of childcare.
