Defibrillator at Hillside Primary School, Portlethen
The motion
That the Parliament commends the efforts of community groups, school staff and pupils in raising £2,000 to install a defibrillator at Hillside Primary School in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire; understands that the children were moved to secure the defibrillator following the sad and sudden death of Zaine Grieve, a Portlethen Academy pupil, in June 2018; notes that community cafés were held to raise the money, and that the defibrillator was officially unveiled at an opening ceremony on 3 February 2020; congratulates all those who contributed to this worthy cause, and passes on it best wishes to everyone involved at Hillside Primary School for continued success in the future.
