National Lottery Funding for Local Communities

The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the Oyne Victoria Hall and Aboyne Breastfeeding Group have received money from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the two groups received a total of £12,189 after applying to the Awards for All Scotland programme, which grants money to projects that aim to support local communities; understands that the Oyne Victoria Hall will use the funding for renovations, while the Aboyne Breastfeeding Group will put its funding towards its services supporting mothers with breastfeeding and infant care; congratulates both groups on their excellent work for the community, and wishes them all the best.
