Glenrothes YMCA Funding for Music Scheme
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Glenrothes YMCA on being awarded a grant of almost £5,000 from The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation in support of its Y Music project; understands that Y Music provides weekly sessions during term time, as well as intensive workshops, to help reach socially vulnerable children from deprived areas; acknowledges that, during the last two years, more than 100 young people have participated in Y Music and created their own music portfolios, including live and studio recordings, and wishes Glenrothes YMCA continued success.
