Who Cares? Scotland Receives Young Start Funding
The motion
That the Parliament notes the awarding of £89,837 from the Young Start Fund to the Glasgow Kelvin-based charity, Who Cares? Scotland; understands that the funding will maintain and enhance the organisation’s youth and advocacy work with the recruitment of a large number of volunteers; further understands that the project seeks to reach over 200 young people with up to 45 volunteers; believes that the organisation plays a significant role in supporting and advocating for people from care-experienced backgrounds; welcomes National Lottery funding collected from dormant bank accounts that supports such activities, and wishes all involved with Who Cares? Scotland continued success in 2020.
