Funding Award for Scouts Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament notes the recent funding award of £10,000 made to Scouts Scotland by the National Lottery's Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that this award is to create a specially-designed accessible zip-wire that will enable wheelchair users and people with other additional needs to use it; notes that this is to be installed at the National Activity Centre at Fordell Firs; believes that this is an excellent example of the inclusive spirit that the scouting movement is known for, and congratulates all those involved in taking this project forward.
