Guide Dogs for the Blind Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament notes the awarding of £9,241 from the National Lottery Awards for All programme to the Glasgow Kelvin-based charity, the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association; understands that the funding will enable the group to train volunteers to guide and support people with visual impairments, helping to improve their skills and confidence in navigating public spaces; believes that the group makes a huge impact on the lives of those who are visually impaired; welcomes National Lottery funding that supports such activities, and wishes all at the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association continued success in 2020.
