Scottish Asian Ekta Group Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament notes the awarding of £9,950 from the National Lottery Awards for All programme to the Glasgow Kelvin-based organisation, the Scottish Asian Ekta Group; understands that the funding will be used to celebrate the organisation’s 20th anniversary, and that the event will feature a number of multicultural activities; believes that such activities positively promote diversity and community cohesion; welcomes National Lottery funding that supports community groups and activities, and wishes all involved with the Scottish Asian Ekta Group continued success in 2020.
