The motion

That the Parliament notes the awarding of £99,826 from the Young Start Fund to the Glasgow Kelvin-based charity, Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis; understands that the funding will support outreach to youth organisations in order to educate on discriminatory attitudes, behaviours and reducing acceptance of sexual violence; further understands that the funding will provide one-to-one support to sexual abuse survivors, as well as the delivery of four-week courses in community settings for people aged 13 to 24; believes that this group provides vital support to tackle sexual violence and support those affected by it; welcomes National Lottery funding collected from dormant bank accounts that support community groups and activities, and wishes all involved with Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis continued success in 2020.
