Joan Hephzibah

That the Parliament congratulates the Edinburgh Western resident, Joan Hephzibah, on the publication of her novel, She Smiled...: From the Ashes; notes its themes around social exclusion and abuse; recognises the importance of black and ethnic minority authors encouraging BAME communities to speak openly about these themes, and applauds Joan for using her work to reach out and offer help to those who have suffered abuse.
