Yipworld Secures Active Travel Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Yipworld, a charitable enterprise for young people based in Cumnock, on securing £24,700 from Paths for All and £5,000 of Coalfields Regeneration funding to encourage cycling and active travel in the Cumnock area; recognises the significant physical and mental health benefits of physical activity and the potential to reduce the number of short trips taken by car; welcomes the efforts made by Yipworld to support young people and provide them with greater opportunities, and wishes everyone involved continued success.
