Asda Foundation Supports Local Community Projects in Huntly

The motion

That the Parliament commends Asda Huntly for its continued support for local charities and community projects; recognises that the Asda Foundation offers funding to local projects across Scotland through its Green Token Giving programme, which allows customers to show their support for the causes that matter most to them; understands that, in the recent round of voting, the Huntly Community Sensory Garden won the customer vote and was awarded £1,000, while the two runners-up, The Leanne Fund and Networks of Wellbeing, received £500 each; congratulates all of the local groups and causes who received funding for their projects, and wishes them all the best for the future.
