Aberdeenshire Project Awarded Funding for Conversion of North Sea Gas to Hydrogen

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Pale Blue Dot on receiving funding to study the conversion of North Sea gas to a clean-burning fuel; recognises that the Acorn project has been awarded £2.7 million through a UK Government fund, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions; understands that the project will carry out tests to develop a cost-effective way of converting gas landed at St Fergus into hydrogen, and wishes Pale Blue Dot success with the project.
