Glasgow Airport Named the Best in the UK
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Glasgow Airport has been named as the best airport in the UK by what it sees as the leading travel advice website, thepointsguy.co.uk; notes that the Renfrewshire-based airport came top of a list of 20; acknowledges that the rankings were based on amenities, commuter access and flight punctuality, with Glasgow scoring well on all counts; believes the accolade is well deserved; considers that the airport makes an important economic contribution to the west of Scotland and the UK as a whole, and congratulates its management and employees on this award.
