Success for Orkney Climbing Club Members

That the Parliament congratulates members of Orkney Climbing Club who have qualified for the Scottish Youth Climbing Series Finals; acknowledges that Emma Rendall, Hope Henderson, Katy Wallace, Craig Burton, Freya Boonzaier and Kathryn Moar have reached the finals following their success at the recent qualifying events in Inverness and Aberdeen; understands that all six climbers have also been selected for the Scotland Youth Squad, where they will train at the national academies; believes that this well-deserved recognition is testament to their hard work and outstanding commitment to their sport; thanks the dedicated coaching team at Orkney Climbing Club who have supported all six athletes to reach this incredible level and provided opportunities for them to compete across the country, and wishes all six climbers the very best at the upcoming prestigious series finals, and every success for the remainder of their season and beyond.
