Glasgow Kelvin Business Success at FSB’s Celebrating Small Business Awards 2020
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the five Glasgow Kelvin-based businesses that have been shortlisted for the Federation of Small Businesses’ Celebrating Small Business Awards 2020, which takes place in Edinburgh on 19 March 2020; notes that just over a third of all shortlisted businesses are based within the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, reflecting the importance of small businesses in the Glasgow economy; understands that Antony McCallum of House of McCallum has been shortlisted for the Self-Employed/Sole Trader of the Year Award, that Danny Campbell of Hoko Design and Suhit Amin of Saulderson Media have been shortlisted for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, that EGG Lighting has been shortlisted for the Environmental Award and that Saulderson Media has been shortlisted for the Start-Up Business of the Year Award; recognises the contribution that small businesses makes to local and national economies, and wishes all those shortlisted continued success in the future.
