Clachan Primary School Awarded Seventh Eco-Schools Green Flag
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the pupils and staff of Clachan Primary School on being awarded the school's seventh Eco-Schools Green Flag by Keep Scotland Beautiful; understands that the Eco-Schools programme encourages young people to look after the environment and that Clachan Primary has introduced a number of eco-friendly changes since adopting the scheme some 16 years ago, including a ban on all single-use plastics and the creation of an eco-garden; acknowledges the long-term benefits of promoting eco-friendly measures to young people, and wishes everyone at Clachan Primary School well in their future planet-protecting endeavours.
