Bishopbriggs Academy’s Young Enterprise Team 2019/20
The motion
That the Parliament commends Bishopbriggs Academy’s Young Enterprise Team 2019/20, which was the Best Marketing Strategy and Best Overall Company runner-up at the Young Enterprise Scotland Awards 2020; understands that the entrepreneurial students devised their product, "The Little Book of Life", which features meat-free recipes and tips to improve mental health and reduce people's impact on the environment; notes that the students, in addition to creating the book, have also been responsible for conducting the business affairs, from managing investment to marketing; acknowledges the dedication of the team members, who carried out promotional events by holding stalls in shopping centres and schools, and congratulates the group on this fantastic initiative and the well-deserved recognition they received.
