Swannay Brewery Success at SIBA National Independent Beer Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Swannay Brewery in Orkney on its success at the recent Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) National Independent Beer Awards; understands that the event features the gold winners from the SIBA regional awards held throughout the UK and recognises the best beers from across the country; recognises that the Orkney Blast and Banyan won golds in the Cask category and the Cask Session IPA category respectively; further recognises that the Muckle IPA was awarded bronze in the Keg Imperial IPA category, and that Orkney Blast won its second award of the evening by taking home bronze in the Overall Cask section; notes that these latest accolades take Swanney Brewery’s total to over 150 since it began in 2006; congratulates the General Manager at Swanney Brewery, Lewis Hill, and the rest of the team on their success at these prestigious awards and the impressive longstanding recognition that they have received for their hard work and efforts, and wishes them all the best as they continue to innovate and grow the business.
