Free Braille and Audio Books for Visually Impaired Children
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that children with impaired vision are being offered free books in braille and audio formats by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB); understands that the RNIB has created braille and audio versions of 13 different titles, which will be offered free of charge to help mark World Book Day 2020; believes that this initiative will help encourage children with visual impairments to read and enjoy literature, and hopes that as many children as possible benefit.
