Waiting Times for Mental Health Support in West Lothian

Lodged by Neil Findlay Standard Motion 1 supporter

The motion

That the Parliament notes with concern latest figures, which indicate that, over a third of young people referred for mental health support, wait over a year to be seen in West Lothian; understands that the amount of young people undergoing treatment for mental health issues in Scotland is at an all-time high, and highlights what it sees as a need for increased funding to mental health services within the NHS to address these serious challenges.
