Local Schools Achieve Bronze Award in Rights Respecting Schools Programme
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Connolly School Campus in Blackburn and the Skills Centre in Whitburn on achieving the Bronze Award from the , Rights Respecting School Awards programme; understands that the international children's charity programme encourages learners to feel confident in themselves and to use their own voice, as well as raising awareness of injustice and challenges experienced around the world in relation to children’s rights; commends both schools for this brilliant achievement, and wishes them future success as they work towards the Silver Award.
