West Lothian Mental Health Group Named Charity Partner for Music Festival
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the East Calder group, Behind Your Mind, on being named the charity partner for the Gig in the Goil festival, which is due to be held in Lochgoilhead; understands that a local resident, David Phillip, started the group after dealing with his own mental health issues; praises the team's dedication and its offers of support and growth over the last 12 months, which resulted in referrals from the NHS, social work and West Lothian Council; commends the excellent services on offer not only to men, but to women and family groups too, meaning people of all ages are tapping into therapy, and wishes the group every success for the future.
