Thistles and Dandelions Project, Keeping Glasgow's History in Bloom
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Empower Women for Change, which is based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, on its award of £53,300 to fund the Thistles and Dandelions project; notes that this grant was provided by the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that this project focuses on the history of Glasgow's women and aims to remove barriers between women from ethnic minorities and heritage sites; welcomes that the project also has a focus on upskilling and connecting participants to the heritage sector, highlighting the potential career opportunities it holds, and wishes all involved with the project and Empower Women for Change every continued success.
