Well Done Borders Buses
The motion
That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the excellent work of Borders Buses during the COVID-19 outbreak, which includes operating a demand response service, where passengers book journeys, and special journeys for NHS staff; notes that Borders Buses has now made all journeys free for NHS staff who simply need to show their ID badge to qualify; understands that staff at the company have been revising routes and services daily to try to meet demand in a safe and responsible manner; thanks staff for all their efforts in keeping this critical service running in very difficult circumstances, and encourages other bus companies to consider adopting similar measures.
