Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bike Volunteers Deliver for the NHS
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bike Volunteers for their incredible support of the NHS during the COVID-19 outbreak; understands that they have been transporting vital medical supplies to NHS sites in the region and beyond; highlights that the group travelled the equivalent of 25,000 miles during March 2020, which is equivalent to going around the world, and 22,000 miles in February; praises its volunteers for stepping up the challenges posed by the virus, and wishes them continued good luck with their efforts in the coming weeks and months.
