Fundraising Success for the Lord Provost's Charitable Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen Lord Provost’s Charitable Trust on raising nearly £100,000, including a single £10,000 donation from a mystery benefactor, to aid the city’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak; understands that these funds will be given to registered charities throughout the city helping those worst affected by the pandemic; consider this a great example of communities coming together in the most challenging of circumstances, and hopes that the Trust will continue to attract donations in order to help those most in need.
