Bothwell and Uddingston Easter Cheer
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work of Bothwell and Uddingston Community Forum and Action Group over the Easter weekend 2020, when its volunteers delivered Easter eggs to many in their community; notes that this was in addition to the group's ongoing work during the fight against COVID-19, which has involved delivering food parcels and prescriptions to those most in need; believes that community work such as this in Bothwell and Uddingston in response to the outbreak is testament to the people of Scotland’s wider response by acting as one community during this challenging pandemic, and offers its thanks to all such groups for the important work they will be doing in the days and weeks ahead.
