Alan Gray, Manufacturing Protective Visors
The motion
That the Parliament commends Alan Gray, who is from Peebles, for manufacturing protective visors for care and NHS workers in Peeblesshire; understands that Alan, who is a craft, design and technology teacher at Gracemount High School in Edinburgh, began 3D printing the visors after hearing about other teachers manufacturing personal protective equipment (PPE); notes that Alan has received £600 of donations from the community and is working with the graphic designer, Norman MacLeod, to build 20 visors per day; thanks Alan and Norman for their hard work, and wishes them all the best.
